This is a NEW KID on the DUBSIDED block, STICKY K.

Little is known about him except that he’s doing stuff on Dubsided and also a Maluca & Diplo remix, which sounds DOPE!….. and that he has PERSIAN roots, mashallah

Dubsided released his “BANDARI FUNK” EP in March, and as he says in his own words, “It’s a mix of UK Garage styles, along with my “ethnic” influence of persian bandari music, hence the title of the EP “Bandari Funk”.

…AND SO perhaps we’ve got it wrong and it’s the other way around then, maybe SANTOGOLD was influenced by DE TROPIX!.

My Homie in the States, BASSNECTAR, has been on the scene for a number of years now doing various Breakbeat and Hip-Hop influenced stuff including the legendary “SNAKECHARMER” track that was adopted by the Tribal Fusion Bellydance fraternity as one of their Anthems.
